A MINDFUL, COOPERATIVE APPROACH TO ASSESSMENT AND THERAPY
I provide diagnostic assessments for clients ranging from age two to early adulthood. additionally, I offer Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) treatment to parents and caregivers to help manage their child's anxiety, as well as parenting support, developmental follow-up, and consultation services.
In my practice, I use a collaborative approach. During assessments, we work together to identify your or your child's strengths and areas for improvement, and we pinpoint useful tools and resources. In therapy, we partner to understand and address your parenting concerns and your child's struggles, working to enhance support, improve your child's coping skills, and foster resilience, flexibility, and independence. My aim is for my clients to feel understood as I assist them in addressing their challenges, enabling them to thrive.
I possess comprehensive training and experience in assessing a wide range of areas for psychological testing. These include developmental concerns like autism spectrum disorder, learning disorders, intellectual disability, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, as well as conditions such as anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, Tourette Syndrome, depression, trauma, mood, and behavioral disorders. I am dedicated to offering inclusive and affirming care to all my clients. Additionally, I specialize in providing Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) treatment to parents.
Since childhood, I've loved stories and been intrigued by what makes people "tick." My interest naturally led me to psychology, a field where I could utilize my curiosity and care to help individuals and families understand and shift their stories. As a psychologist, person, and parent, I value compassion, curiosity, connection, awareness, growth, humor, and resilience. My clinical experience spans community mental health, college counseling, and working with at-risk youth. This diverse practice has instilled in me a sense of humility as I strive to address the needs of individuals and families throughout the assessment and therapy process. I am committed to continuous learning and consistently seek ways to improve my practice.
